LIVING DINOSAURS: Is it Possible?
How the Earth came to be: Evolution vs Creationism
EVOLUTION: 4.5 billion years ago, the Big Bang occurred. A cosmic explosion of unimaginable proportions gave birth to matter in our planet. It, however, was void of all life. Slowly, our oceans formed, until life on earth dawned.
Over the course of millions of years new and fantastic creatures would dominate our planet. From the carboniferous period, where gigantic spiders would be eating present-day cats for breakfast, to the cretaceous period, where Tyrannosaurus-Rex ruled supreme, these creatures came to rule a world....our world....Then around 3 million years ago our earliest ancestors evolved, on an ape that walked upright. Over the next millions of years, mammals would rule supreme. Then, man would come to be, forcing every creature on the planet to be subordinate to it. We would evolve to become the most successful creatures ever to exist.
CREATIONISM: 6,000 years ago God created the world. He created the water, the sky, light and dark. He created the birds which flew the skies and the whales and fish which swam the oceans and lakes. And everything was created according to its kind. On the seventh day, God saw that everything he had created was good. Along with God's creations came the first human, Adam, a man. From one of Adam's ribs God made Eve, his female companion. They lived harmoniously in the garden of Eden until Eve sinned. Then, God saw a flaw in one of his creations.
So, what's going on?
For thousands of years, ever since the existence of man, creatures have been spotted, most still unknown to the modern world. Could these just not be undiscovered species of animals? So why make such a big deal: because, the creatures which were reported resembled dinosaurs all to well. If dinosaurs were living, that is a very big deal. They should have died out 65 million years ago, that is according to evolution. Creationism offers us another option, the option that the great terrible lizards may actually still be in existence. When God flooded the world, during Noah’s time, he commanded Noah to save every species of animals in the entire world. Each species would enter the ark and stow away during the flood. Every kind of animal would only be allowed a pair, so that after the flood the animals could repopulate the world. Dinosaurs could have very well been on the arc. Why with its size and all.
Evolution does not offer us this option. Creationism could explain all the modern dinosaur sightings, and yes, I said MODERN DINOSAUR SIGHTINGS. Believe it or not, these great beasts have been reported. As bizarre as that sounds, it is actually possible. Tropical rain forests all around the world could have kept and may currently be keeping dinosaurs in seclusion. The Amazon rain forest is extremely dense, with only a few parts of it actually explored. Even in North America, we have so much wilderness that is still virgin and has not been disturbed my humans at any point in time. So, indeed it is possible that dinosaurs are roaming our planet.
Africa's Dinosaur: The Moleke Mbembe
In the Congo of Africa, there is said to lurk a monster. The Moleke Mbembe. This creature seems to resemble a sauropod. Sauropods lived during the Mesozoic era, or era of the dinosaurs. It was itself a dinosaur, and was part of the largest and tallest group of creatures ever to walk the planet. Most lived during the Jurassic, but some lived during the Cretaceous period as well. In the Congo rain forest, it is possible that this terrible lizard still rains after all. (Also put in mind that only a small portion of the Congo rain forest has actually been explored, and the few expeditions that are done into there, sightings of a sauropod-like animals are reported).
Could It Possibly Exsist?
It is hard to say whether the Moleke Mmebe actually exists. Scientifically speaking, or technically speaking for that matter, a dinosaur could inhabit such regions. Food, water, shelter and space are abundant, some of the major environmental facets an organism needs to survive. Not only that, there is seclusion from the outside world. Dinosaurs could indeed be roaming our world. So, it is safe to say that perhaps the terrible lizards still reign after all.
